With over 80 distinguished speakers from Greece and abroad, ITC 2025 – 8th Infrastructure and Transport Conference will take place on September 22, 23, and 24, co-organized by the websites ypodomes.com and metaforespress.gr.
This year’s conference is expected to attract over 1,200 delegates, while online visits are estimated at around 11,000.
On Monday, September 22, at 20:00, the Opening Gala will be held at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre, Banquet Hall. This is a closed event, intended for speakers, sponsors, and supporters of the conference, during which the opening remarks will take place, with the participation of senior officials from the Greek government.
Earlier the same day (September 22), four online panels will be held from 10:00 to 14:00, mainly involving institutional stakeholders from the two sectors.
On Tuesday, September 23, and Wednesday, September 24, the main sessions of ITC 2025 will take place at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre (Banquet Hall), featuring over 80 speakers, 1,500 delegates, and 18 exhibitors.
Infrastructure Day Program (Tuesday, September 23)
The Infrastructure Day at ITC 2025 begins with an opening address and the screening of the official video for this year’s conference.
Three panel discussions will follow, titled:
“Why does the future of major projects belong to Metro and Railway works.” Featured guests include the General Secretary of Infrastructure, Dimitris Anagnopoulos, and representatives from Elliniko Metro, OSE/ERGOSE, and engineering consulting firms.
“Natural Gas Infrastructure: Greece as a crossroads for Europe – the penetration of natural gas into the Greek market.” Guest speaker: Deputy Minister of Energy, Nikos Tsafos, along with representatives from relevant companies.
“Private Construction: Major investments in the country’s real estate sector – How close are we to the European average?” Speakers include representatives from real estate investment companies.
After the first break, the “PROJECT OF THE YEAR 2024” Award will be presented, going to the Thessaloniki Metro.
The award will be received by Elliniko Metro, the consortium AKTOR-WEBUILD-HITACHI, and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport as the supervising authority.
Next is the “Constructions’ Roundtable”, with participation from top executives of Greece’s leading construction groups and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. Invited guests include the Infrastructure and Transport Minister, Christos Dimas, the president of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), Giorgos Stasinos, and representatives from the four major construction groups.
After lunch, the following panels will take place:
“Challenges and opportunities arising from the growth of construction for Greek industries.” Guest: Deputy Minister of Industry, Anna Mani, and representatives of major Greek industries.
“Major investments in real estate logistics in Attica and Thessaloniki.” Invited are representatives from logistics-focused real estate investment firms and engineering consultants.
“Flagship projects with a new orientation – What is the next day for the country’s infrastructure?” Guest: Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Nikos Tachiaos, alongside company and consultancy representatives.
The first day concludes with Cocktail Meet & Greet, held in the exhibition area from 17:00 to 19:00.
Transport Day Program (Wednesday, September 24)
Transport Day at ITC 2025 begins with the opening address and the screening of the official conference video, followed by a discussion with the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Vassilis Kikilias.
Panel discussions to follow:
Greek ports, ships and ferries: The focus on the renewal of the fleet and the modernization of the port infrastructure
Air Transport: The challenges to ensure the upward path
Then, the “Company of the Year in Transport – 2024” Award will be presented.
After the first break, there will be a discussion with the Deputy Minister of Transport, Konstantinos Kyranakis.

“Freight Transport – Logistics – Postal / Courier Services: The increase of investments and the escalation of competition”
“The new era in Smart Cities”
The Transport Day will conclude with the panel: “Modern approaches to sustainable urban mobility.”
