Chari Toloumis

Charis Toloumis is the Managing Director of TÜV NORD Hellas. In his role, he is leading the company’s strategic growth agenda, with a strong focus on accelerating digital transformation, developing new services and expanding the organisation’s presence in dynamic sectors of inspection and certification. He brings extensive international experience and a strong background in leadership positions within the technology and digital solutions sector. TÜV NORD Hellas has been a trusted partner in quality, safety, and sustainability since 1987. As part of the TÜV NORD Group, it combines international expertise with strong local presence through offices in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Heraklion, as well as subsidiaries in Cyprus and Egypt. Before joining TÜV NORD Hellas, Charis Toloumis served as Head of the Buildings Business Unit at Siemens Greece from October 2024. Prior to that, he held the positions of Director of Digital Solutions and Strategic Account Manager, contributing to the development of innovation ecosystems through the Siemens Xcelerator business platform. During his 15-year career at Siemens, he held several senior positions at the company’s Smart Infrastructure headquarters in Switzerland, most recently as Head of Software Products. Through these roles, he gained extensive experience in managing international teams, product development and driving technological transformation initiatives. He holds an International Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen, an MSc in Energy Engineering from ETH Zurich and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras.
