Featured guests include the Deputy CEO of the Hellenic Growth Fund, Panagiotis Stampoulidis, and representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and engineering consulting firms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;<strong>Water, climate crisis, and the need for new infrastructure to protect against extreme phenomena<\/strong>&#8220;<\/strong>. Guest speakers are the Special Secretary for Hydraulic Works and Buildings, Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Charalampos Mygdalis,\u00a0the CEO of EYDAP, Haris Sachinis, along with representatives from relevant companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;<strong>Reshaping cities: In the era of &#8216;green&#8217; construction<\/strong>&#8220;<\/strong>. Speakers include representatives from real estate investment companies as well as industry representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the first break, we continue with the panels<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Energy and an interconnected Greece \u2013 Is Greece\u2019s role as an energy hub feasible? Fireside chat<\/strong>&#8220;. Invited are the Deputy Minister of Energy, Ministry of Environment and Energy, Nikos Tsafos, and the Chairman &amp; CEO of IPTO, Manousos Manousakis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Then the &#8220;<strong><strong>STRATEGIC PROJECT OF THE YEAR 2025 Special Award<\/strong><\/strong>&#8221; will be presented, going to the <strong>Attica\u2013Crete Electrical Interconnection.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award will be received by \u00a0<strong>IPTO<\/strong>, representatives of the\u00a0<strong>construction companies<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Ministry of Environment and Energy<\/strong>\u00a0as the competent ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next is the panel &#8220;<strong>New infrastructure projects and financing \u2013 From the NSRF to PPPs, the mix for project implementation is changing<\/strong>&#8220;. Invited are the General Secretary of Infrastructure, Dimitris Anagnopoulo<strong>s<\/strong>, the President of TMEDE, Konstantinos Makedos, the General Secretary for Management of Sectoral Programs of European Regional Development Fund, Cohesion Fund and European Social Fund, Vasilis Siadimas, as well as an engineering firm representative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After lunch, the following panels will take place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>\u201cConstructions\u2019 Roundtable\u201d<\/strong>, with participation from top executives of Greece&#8217;s leading construction groups and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. Invited guests include the Infrastructure and Transport Minister, Christos Dimas, the president of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), Giorgos Stasinos, and representatives from the four major construction groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>&#8216;PROJECT OF THE YEAR 2025&#8217; Award<\/strong>, which concerns the Patras \u2013 Pyrgos highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award will be received by the&nbsp;<strong>Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport<\/strong>&nbsp;as the contracting authority and implementing body,&nbsp;<strong>Olympia Odos<\/strong>&nbsp;as the concessionaire and the construction companies, members of the&nbsp;<strong>J\/V \u201cAPION KLEOS\u201d, TERNA, AKTOR and AVAX<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;<strong>The contribution of highlighting the country&#8217;s cultural heritage in major infrastructure projects &#8211; Fireside Chat<\/strong>&#8220;<\/strong>. Featured guest is the Minister of Culture, Lina Mendoni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Data Center development in Greece: Challenges and opportunities in the light of energy sufficiency&#8221;<\/strong>. Invited are representatives of companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Infrastructure Day closes with the panel <strong>&#8220;<strong>Traffic file: The major projects that will contribute to alleviating the problem<\/strong>&#8220;<\/strong>.
