Athanasia Oikonomou

Athanasia Oikonomou (born 15/11/1994) holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Structural Engineering. She is currently attending a second full-time MSc in Infrastructure and Construction Project Management, which is provided by the National Technical University of Athens in collaboration with GEK TERNA S.A.

She has a 10 years’ experience in Infrastructure works, both in private and public sector, specialized in large-scale project. She participated in the largest development project in Greece, targeting a Gold LEED certification for the buildings.

Athanasia has been appointed in 2022 as the Chief of Infrastructure in New Democracy, with a task to address to the public the importance of the government’s projects towards the growth and sustainability of the local communities. She has been representing the New Democracy in many conferences related to her section.
